In 2006 I decided to illustrate one of the coolest scenes from Lovecraft's story, "At the Mountains of Madness." At that time I was very active with an online art community called GFXArtist (now defunct) which was full of super professional artists from all over the world. I posted my original idea as a sketch and requested feedback throughout the entire process. A guy called David Bonneywell (look him up on IMDB, he's sick!) stepped in and provided me with some of the most helpful and eye-opening feedback I have every received. Drawing this piece was one of the most pivotal points in my artistic growth and it turned out amazing thanks to Dave's help!
